Basketball Practice

Landon starts basketball next week.  He's had a few practices.  He plays on a league with 5 and 6 year olds. Kenzie and I usually go watch.  Bryan usually ends up helping coach.

I Want My Gammy!

For some reason, after a normal drive home, Kenzie refused to get out of the car.  She started crying that she wanted to "Dwive"  "Dwive to Gammy's House!" "I go my Gammy's" (Grammy's house - which happens to be 11 hours away.)
So after she cried for a while and still wouldn't get out...I, of course, got the camera out.  Poor baby.  Wish we lived closer to family.

I can jump!

After dinner at Logan's we were waiting for Bryan to pay our check, the kids and I headed outside.  The kids practices jumping.  It was hilarious. You can see in some of the pictures, how Landon has now started playing with Kenzie's hair like he does mine.  She hates it, wants to be independent.

Dress Up and Learning Tower

Here's a great picture of Kenzie, once again, wearing Landon's undies over her pajamas.  She's on her Learning Tower that Bryan found at Old Wheel (Goodwill) for $40!!  Seriously!  I can't imagine paying $200 for one of those.  Lucky for us, Bryan loves OW and can always find a good deal.  Kenzie loves her tower.

Curly Girl

I've been doing a new routine with my hair - call Curly Girl.  I think I've got everyone hooked (except Nic and I'll have to tie her down and see if she'll let me try it on her hair.  I'm guessing she has good curls - and you know it would be soooo much easier in this humidity to go curly - so just do it already Nic! LOLOLOL)

Anyway - part of it is called plopping, which you can watch done on youtube.  You plop into a t-shirt or microfiber towel.  I spend most nights and/or drives to work in my blue or green turbine.  Kenzie wanted to copy me.  I love this girl.  She is so girly.

LC Park

The kids love League City park.  We go there 3-4 times a week now.  It a great park, with a new playground and a pond full of turtles.

Playing Dress Up

I still am surprised at how differently Landon and Kenzie are - just how ingrained the whole boy/girl thing is.  Landon was all about mud and trucks and climbing everything.

Kenzie on the other hand is my little girl.  Although she does love bugs and doesnt' mind touching worms and frogs, this girl loves to dress up.  Anytime she sees clothes laying around or shoes sitting out, she has to put them on.   I can't tell you how many times she's gotten makeup out of my drawers, or found the lip gloss and managed to put it all over her face.

Tonight, for some reason (I didn't question it) Bryan was folding laundry in the living room.  So Kenzie decided to try some different outfits.

Crawfish Boil at Mr. Danny's

Mr. Danny had a crawfish boil - perfect weather.  We woke up to a cold 55 degrees, but it quickly warmed up enough for the kids to swim in a little pool.  I had a great time visiting with some old friends we haven't talked to  in a while.  It was a great day for the boil.

Where to live

Walking to Miss Cole's house, Landon said he wished that his neighbors were his best friend Mason on one side.  On the other side he wanted all his cousins to live there.
And also - all of our houses would be in DisneyWorld, and there would be Schlitterbahn there and SeaWorld.

I think that sounds pretty fantastic.

Chocolate Bunnies

As Bryan was taking off the platform hitch to the van, Landon got Kenzie and convinced (like that's hard) to sneak into the back of the van and eat their Easter bunnies.  The bunnies had been sitting in the car all day...melted.
Luckily Bryan found them as they were opening them in the back of the van.  I don't think Kenzie was too happy that Dad took away her "chalk-it" but thank goodness - I can't imagine trying to clean that out of the car floor!
