Lan loves it. Most people were packing up when we arrived, so it wasn't so crowded and we never had to wait too long in lines.

The Bahn
We bought Season passes to Schlitterbahn down in Galveston, so we decided to head down there yesterday after work.
Lan loves it. Most people were packing up when we arrived, so it wasn't so crowded and we never had to wait too long in lines.

Bedtime Conversation
Landon: "how do toys get in movies?"
Me: "what?"
Landon: "how do toys get in movies?"
Me: "someone makes a movie, they decide what to show, so sometimes they pick toys."
Landon: "no, i think God does it."

Blacklight Golf
We went to a birthday party on Saturday for Seth! He turned 5, I just can't believe he's that old...starting school this year.
The party was at a great place - miniature golf under black lights. The kids loved it! Although Lan was a little small and did cry once when he couldn't see around the big kids, he had a blast the rest of the day.
After the party, we went over to Sandy's for swimming and dinner. Landon had a great time with "Sef" and all the new toys.

3 Year Stats
I know, I'm a few months off, but we just now go Landon's 3 year well baby done.
He's 31.2 pounds, and measures 38 1/4 inches tall.
Also, his six year molars (on the bottom) seem to be coming in. Which explains why he started putting his hands in his mouth again.
Everything else checked out well too. Such a great kid.

Mother's Day
Aside from a nagging cold, I had a wonderful Mother's Day (weekend.) After the 5k on Saturday, I went home and worked on the yard, while Bryan and Landon went shopping. After yard work and a nap, we went to Mr. Danny's for some crawfish. Lan played in the pool they had set up in the yard for hours. He loved it.
We came home, cleaned up and went to a new Italian cafe down the road. Good food, not excellent, and very pricey.
Bryan and Landon got me a new PC for Mother's Day! Ordered it anyway, it should be in sometime this week. We went to the doughnut shop for breakfast, then went in search of a pool. We found one and quickly set it up. Lan spent another afternoon swimming. Bryan and I did more yard work and then ordered some pizza for dinner. We all went for a long walk around the neighborhood. Landon was very much occupied with the dead worms...wanting to know if they were baked and why the ants were eating them...he also wondered if we'd get baked by the sun too.
The best part of the weekend, Bryan put Landon to sleep two nights, allowing me to go to bed early. And then when Lan woke up in the night, he called for "Daddy" = YES! Even more sleep for mama.
