Pink and Green Waffles

Bryan made us waffles!  Yum!  Landon requested green.  Bryan decided to make pink for me.  Of course, then Landon wanted both colors!!  We have so much fun with food gel!  (kenzie's over there enjoying some milk.)

Dentist Visit (landon)

Landon went to the dentist!!  He did so well!  Of course, the hygenist was awesome, talking to him the whole time, explaining everything, making it all seem so cool.  She was really great.  They took x-rays, cleaned up his teeth and informed us he has 4 (3 small, 1 good size) cavities.  Yikes!  Well, we knew about the one cavity - we could see it.  So we'll be going back to get them filled.  I'm hoping he does just as well at the next visits!

7 years later

At the end of the month Bryan and I will be celebrating our 7th anniversary.  7 years!  Strange how it can seem like just yesterday, but also feel like we've been together a life time.  Seven years with my very best friend.  And we still do everything together.  We IM each other most of the day, text back and forth and spend our nights and weekends together.  Yes, we each do other things we enjoy.  But we're lucky to enjoy doing the same type of things, and doing those together.  I love him so much, and, though I sometimes forget or take it for granted, I'm so very blessed to have him.

Kenzie's 1 Year Checkup

Kenzie weighed 21.14 pounds, and is 28.5 inches tall.  That puts her in the 58% for weight, and 24% for height.

She does NOT like being examined.  This probably goes along with her hating to have people in her personal space.  She's only 1, and already has the "do not hug me" gene.  She got two vaccine shots, and a TB test.  She cried, but we were able to get it done, and she passed out in the car as soon as I got her buckled in.

4th of July

For the 4th, we headed out to New Mexico, taking my neice home.  It was a nice drive out there in the middle of the night - we listened to an audio book and the kids slept most of the way.  We arrived in NM around 6am and didn't get much rest after that.

We packed the weekend full of events - lunch with the family at Leal's, dinner and swimming at my cousins, shopping in Clovis, fishing at Nana's, church, 10K race, french toast breakfast, etc...

Landon loves visiting his cousins and it gets harder and harder to come home.  Especially since we returned without Emma!  Felt like we were missing a child.
