Wildlife Park

We met friends at the Wildlife Park down the road from here. It was so much fun. You paid entrance fee and got a bucket of food to feed the animals. All kinds of animals. Ostrich, zebras, buffalo, longhorns, deer, oh so many deer.

We had an excellent time. Finished it up with a long afternoon nap.

I'm back!!!

Anyone still out here? I'm sure everyone gave up on us...but here's a post to fill you in.

Halloween was great. Landon was so much fun. He caught on very quickly to the idea of knocking on doors equals candy in the pumpkin.

He's 19 months now. Still in the 25-40th percentile (and our crazy pediatrician told us he'll probably always be small - uh, yeah, uh huh, sure, lady.) He is finally wearing 18 month shorts/pants although they don't stay up very well.

He went to potty at school, but cries and screams if we show him his potty seat at home.

He now has an aversion to bath tubs and showers. Its a screaming fight to get him to sit in the tub. Not fun.

He has to wear shoes ALL the time. He doesn't even like to take them off to get in pajamas. I think we'll be shopping for slippers this weekend.

He's so much fun now, even given the no bath thing. He learns so quickly, its great to see his mind working. He still wants MaMa's hair to go to sleep. But he's doing better about sleeping in his toddler bed (which is right beside our bed.) He talks all the time.

Here's a video from the halloween party at daycare. Notice at the end, he gets t-boned by another kid. He recovered quickly with the help of a huge iced sugar cookie.

Vegas

We're back from Vegas. We had a great time.
Landon did not perform during the ceremony, but he hammed it up before and after. I'll have to post pictures later (when I get them on the PC.)

It was a fantastic vacation, Landon was great, our suite was to die for, the food was grand. Everything went well. I'm still exhausted and trying to catch up on sleep and unpacking.

Landon's glad to be back in school with his friends and he has a playdate Sunday.

Fun with Laundry Baskets

All the money spent on toys...useless.
An old laundry basket...priceless.

Landon's new favorite thing is to turn the baskets upside down and stand on them.

He also enjoyed snuggling up in the laundry basket filled with our comforter.

Breakfast

How do you explain to a 17 month old that, no, he can not have cheese nips for breakfast? That he needs to eat his waffle like a good boy and let mom eat her piece of German Chocolate cake in peace...

What is it?

That's Lan's favorite new phrase. Doesn't matter if he knows what it is, he still says it. Cutie Patootie.

Bry made him mac and cheese last night while I was making burritos and spanish rice. But Landon wanted what Mom and Dad were eating! But then he got upset when Dad was eating salsa and he couldn't have any.

After dinner, we all just snuggled on the couch for a while, watching football. Lan's a great snuggler. Then Bry had to play volleyball, so Landon and I watched Sc.ooby D.oo and then Za.boomafo, then off to bed.

I love my family.

Some pictures

Landon was going to have splash day at school, so I took it as an opportunity to 'fix' his hair. Not sure dad thought it was too cute, but I thought he looked great.

Here's Landon and his cousins (minus Grace) when they visited a few weeks ago. We went to target to get pictures and I'm telling you, this beats any picture that idiot tried to take.

We're here...and growing fast

Landon is getting SO big. He's all grown up. For a 17 month old, anyway.

We're transitioning rooms at daycare this week. He looks so tiny in his new room, but in his old room he's the king of the land. It's time for him to move, but its hard on mama.

He's talking all the time now. ALL. THE. TIME. "What's this?" "What's that do?" "Here you go" "Where's the puppies?" And I think yesterday he may have said shutup. Not the shutup as in quit talking, but the shut up as in 'get out, seriously'...i say it all the time. We HAVE got to start watching what we say.

He's out of the highchair. He either sits in a normal chair and barely reaches his food, or we found an Eddie Bauer booster that he likes, so we use that.

He can climb anything. The baby gates, the couch, the car seats, the bed, the tub. He's our little monkey.

He loves to wink (which is more like just squinting his eyes) and saying bye-bye to everyone. He's a total flirt.

His new favorite song is "Five little monkeys jumping on the bed." Its so cute to see him do all the hand gestures. He's sleeping more and more in his crib, but still likes to use Mom's hair to go to sleep.

He's so much fun...I'm sad I haven't kept up with this blog like I used to. I'll try to do better. Cause I love my boy and don't want to forget any of this.

More Family Visiting

My mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her three kids came out last Thursday for the weekend. The kids had a great time. She has a 6 year old, 3 year old, and 9 month. Landon had a hard time sharing his house and toys and especially his mom. But he got used to it after awhile and shared the house and toys. Not mom.

We went to the zoo one day (that membership is definitely paying off) and Kemah one day. They did some shopping while we were at work yesterday. The kids loved playing in the fountain at Kemah. (Pics to come - camera is jacked up for some reason.)

Four kid in one house is a lot. I'm definitely rethinking the whole more kids thing. Maybe 2 would be good. LOL.

Oh! I got a new car last week. (Man, my blogging is slow.) We got an Acadia. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! Its great.

Movie Night

We saw HP3 and Trans.formers last night. Landon fell asleep in HP and then watched some of T. but then fell asleep again. He's so good.

He bit again at school on Monday. He had stopped biting for a while...but then two kids (yep, two) on Monday. Yesterday, he was good. But seriously, there's some times at work that I would just like to smack or bite someone too. So, do you really blame him? LOL.

He's in his crib most of the night now, if not all night. Depends on how awake I am when he wakes up crying. Sometimes I put him back to sleep in the crib, sometimes I wake up in the morning wondering how he got in our bed.

Grandpa Foster and Family

My dad, stepmom and two brothers came to visit this weekend. My younger brother went to football camp at UH on Friday. There were over 500 kids there, it was insane. My brother's graduating this year and looking to play football somewhere in Texas. UH would be awesome! Then we'd get season tickets and get to see him play all the time.

The weekend trip was great. They came in Thursday morning. We went out to Kemah - lucky for a break in the rain. Then the football camp on Friday and dinner at downtown. On Saturday we headed down to Galveston, walked the strand, ate some wings, then headed out to the beach. Landon had a great time in the water. He wanted to be with his dad the whole time. He loved the sand and all the seashells.

Then it was back to the house for lots of pizza. Oh, and in the midst of all the weekend fun, the dogs got into my brother's room and ate, yes, ate, his Nano. So we replaced it for him and Bry's looking at getting the old one fixed.

It was fun...Landon loved being with his Grandpa. He'd cry every time my dad left the room. He wanted to go everywhere with him.

Jane has all the pictures. Hopefully I'll get some from her and post them. Landon cried at day care today. I think he really enjoyed the attention this weekend.

Oh! Yesterday we helped Nicole cut down her neighbor's pear tree. Oh my gosh. It was gnasty. The neighbor is older and can't really take care of her yard. There were rotted pears EVERYWHERE. It was so gnasty (silent g, worse than just nasty.) But we got it all trimmed up and hopefully that will help everyone. No more flies and rotted fruit everywhere. After the clean up, we headed over to Nic's pool and got about 10 minutes of swimming in before a flash flood hit us. Hard.

Trip to DC

We had a great time in DC.

Here's a few pictures of things Landon enjoyed. I say few, because its only 24 pictures out of about 1500. Yeah, that many.

July 4th

Holidays that fall in the middle of the week aren't that fun. It makes it seem like you actually have two Mondays, but I worked on the 4th, so it was like I didn't get a break at all, really.

The in-laws came down again. They're helping us finish out the room over our detached garage. We had a ton of rain this past week, but it finally blew through for a while yesterday, so we were able to play outside. Landon finally was brave enough to venture into his sandbox. Then he helped me pot a ton of plants we got 1/2 at Hou.ston Gar.den. Then we washed off in his little gator pool. The hose hooks up to the outside and then spouts water out of the top of the gator head. I turned the water so that it just bubbled out, and Landon was having a great time. I taught him how to get a drink of the water, or how to blow bubbles in it. He really just liked sticking his face through it.

He passed out during lunch. Too much fun outside. He's back to saying "Ma ma" now. So its not Daddy all the time. But he's saying lots of words now. Truck, Shoot (because, seemingly all this boy things about is balls, basketball, volleyball, golf balls, whatever) Duck, quack, moo, meow (sort of), bird, boo, and on and on.

He's also learned itsy bitsy spider, which is so cute to watch.
Here's some pictures from our week.

Laughing

First, Landon didn't bite anyone yesterday! Yay Landon.

Here's a video of Landon, its very dark (we were in the bedroom last night.) Bryan was dancing for Landon, you can tell what Landon thinks of his Dad's dance moves.

And here's another cute picture from the zoo.

Zoo

We got a membership to the zoo when we went on Saturday. Yes it was hot. Hello we live in Houston. But it was overcast with a few sprinkles, so overall it wasn't that bad.

Landon loved it! Loved. It. He was asleep when we got there and didn't wake up until we got inside. Then he was like, "OH MY GOSH! I'M IN HEAVEN!" He loved the fish and the reptiles. And of course the birds, monkeys, merecats...pretty much anything that moved.

The best part was all the gnasty (that's worse than just nasty - silent g) birds scavenging for food at the tables. Landon chased them all over the place.

Water Bowl

Last night, Landon was using his golf club to 'stir' the water in the dog bowl. And by stir, I mean sloshing all the water out of the bowl onto the wall and floor. He thought that was great fun. Apparently he remembered this morning cause he went straight to the water bowl. But his golf club wasn't there, so instead he started throwing the dog food into the bowl. I got to him after he had about 10-12 pieces floating.

Toddler (and some pictures)

I finally found a picture where he looks a little like my baby pictures…

And this picture was taken moments before he chunked the corn cob at my head.

He's such a big help in the kitchen…

And this is his favorite spot. He digs out all the rocks and the dogs drink the rain water.

He loves rocks! Loves them. We have rocks all over our house now and in the car, on the sidewalk, in the bathtub, everywhere.

Okay, I've already given my 14 month old a body complex. Every morning, after I get on the scale, he wants to get on there too. We bought a To.tal Gy.m (yeah like, Chuc.k Nor.ris uses!) Its pretty cool so far. Of course, Landon wants to work out too. Either he'll crawls up on top of me while i'm working out or he'll use it as a slide when we're finished.

Thursday, June 14, 2007

Oh No! Note

Landon got his first Oh No! note from school yesterday. Apparently he bit a girl because he was playing with the mailbox and didn't want her to play with him.

Yeah...that's my kid, the biter.

My in-laws were in for eight days last week. They completely and totally spoiled Landon rotten. The little monkey had throwing fits down to a tee. As soon as he didn't get his way, he'd give us the big sad eyes, then pitch himself forward and start crying...sure enough, as all grandmas do, Grandma Rhodes swooped in and picked him up.

So, now we're working on un-spoiling him. He has started hitting when we tell him no. Not fun.

But fun stuff - he loves birds. LOVES THEM. He's goes ape crazy when he sees or hears a bird. Then the dogs go crazy too. He's also learned to run to the fridge (like the dogs do) when he hears the ice machine being used. He wants to give the dogs ice, like Daddy does. And he's loves kissing. He kisses me all the time now. On my legs, on my cheek, on my hands. Its more of a slobbery open mouth "muah" but I love it. That is until he bites. To which I tell him no biting, to which he hits me. LOL...we're working on it. He's already much better than last week.

He's also learned to say "pop, pop, pop" like his pull along popping toy. Its prescious.

Memorial Weekend - West Texas Trip

Warning! Long, long, boring post.
Summary: Landon can now say gobble and we have new furniture.

We made a quick trip out to West Texas / Eastern New Mexico. Our furniture came in (YAY!) We left Friday, stopped in Lubbock to visit my friend, Tiffany. We met at McDonalds so Landon could get out and play after being cooped up in the car for 783 hours. He had a great time on the Micky Dee's playground. There were some little girls there playing also and they would all start doing little girl squeals...pretty soon, Landon chimed right in. I decided Landon might like going down the big slide...bad idea. I climbed up to the top of the playground thingy with him...I thought for sure I was going to get stuck. But we made it down okay. Then we went by the new specialty hospital there to see Tiff's Papa. Then on to Muleshoe. It was getting late, so we just stayed the night there.

Saturday morning, we all enjoyed my Mom's french toast. It seriously is the best french toast in the world. Seriously. Landon had a great time playing with his cousins, especially Alex. We had called around earlier in the week and there were plenty of U.hauls so Bry never reserved one. BAD, BAD, BAD IDEA. We couldn't find any on Saturday! Finally, Dimmit had one (which is like a 40 minute drive in the middle of no where.) We took off to get it before someone else snatched it up. At the u.haul place, they also had a small green house, so Landon and I went in and smelled all the flowers while Dad took care of business. Landon found marigolds and would sniff them. But one tickled his nose, so after that, he would smell a flower, then start cracking up thinking it was going to tickle him.

Finally, back on to Portales to load up furniture. Bryan and my Uncle Bill spent a couple hours trying to figure out if they could get everything in...In the end, we left out two of the entertainment pieces, a nightstand and the TV Console (which didn't get ordered anyway.) So another trip is in our future.

We then went to see S.hrek. LOL...the movie theatre in Portales is, well, old. Its the kind that is like 100 yards long, but all one level. And I think the screen may have been just a little bit bigger than our tv at home. But it was a great movie, Landon watched most of it. Then decided to walk up and down the isle at the end.

After the movie, we headed out to Bubby's (Mom's fiance) house. He has two super nice dogs and two turkeys. Yes, I said Turkeys. They're tame, so Landon got to go in the pen. They never really came close, but Landon's new word for the weekend was 'gobble.'

On Sunday, we went to church in the morning. And then to Bubby's for lunch since the rest of the family had left for Baltimore for Craig's wedding. We had hamburgers, corn on the cob and lots more. I have some great pictures of me and my sisters...I'll have to post later.

We drove Sunday afternoon through storms to Austin. Got up in the morning and went to the outlet malls. Then back home, to unload furniture. We're soooo lucky to have good friends that came over to help. Cause that furniture is HEAVY. Danny wanted to know why we didn't just buy particle board crap like everyone else. Seriously, moving solid oak furniture is NOT fun. But its in the house now and looks beautiful.

Terrible Twos....at 14 months?

So...Landon has learned how to throw a fit. Sits down in the floor, throws his head to the floor and cries. He'll even roll over and just lay there, waiting for me to pick him up. Which I don't. Today, I got Landon dressed then I said, "Okay, let's go get breakfast." But instead of walking with me, he throws a fit. I sat down, waiting for him to come over. He threw a fit, got up took two steps, threw another fit, another two steps, fit, two steps, you get the picture. Bry was going to go pick him up. I told him I'd tackle him if he picked up Landon. LOL. I don't want Landon thinking he can throw a fit and we'll just baby him. Is that wrong? Landon's never been a cryer so this is all new to me.

Anyway - we're headed to New Mexico this weekend to see family and pick up my furniture!! YAY! I'll take pictures when we get it all in the house. I can not wait!

Oh, and I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned the house yesterday. There's still more cleaning to do, but Oh man! What a difference a clean house makes. You just feel so much better after its done. It's the doing that stinks. LOL.

Kisses

Landon walked over to me this weekend, gave me a big ol' slobbery kiss and then walked off and kept playing.

Spanking

Yes, you read that right. I spanked Landon this week.

He got this great rocking chair from Grandma and Grandpa Rhodes, which he loves to climb up in and stand up and rock. That's okay by me. He's a boy...he needs to 'live on the edge.' LOL. But now he thinks once he's standing in the rocking chair, he can climb the rungs on the back of the seat. That's not funny. So, after repeatedly telling him no, and removing his foot from the chair. I swatted his leg. Not hard, but not easy.

That's when he turned to me and just started laughing. LAUGHING. So then it was game, he wanted me to do it again, so he puts his foot on the back of the seat to climb...and turns to look at me, like "What ya gonna do about it?"

Trying not to laugh...I just grabbed that boy off the chair and gave him razzes on his stomach. Laugh at that...not the spanking you little stinker.

Mother's Day

Happy Belated Mother's Day. We had a great day, weekend, actually. I got my hair done, color and cut on Saturday. Sunday we overslept a little, so no time for breakfast before church. Landon's been having an allergic reaction to dairy (read diarrhea.) So midway through church we had an accident. Luckily I had packed extra clothes. As I'm carrying Landon out in the parking lot, trying to not get the poop on me, or more poop on him, he's wiggling in my arms, and I almost drop him! Yes, I almost dropped my son on the asphalt on mother's day. Luckily I cought him, upside down by one foot.

After church we went to PF Chang's for lunch. Yummy. In the afternoon we blew up the alligator pool we found on clearance last year at Target. Landon wasn't too sure about the cold water at first, but as it warmed up and as we added toys and more toys, he eventually liked the pool - especially if he could drink the water.

Bryan's in Ohio - with the camera, so I'll post pictures later.

We've been braving the evening heat and going for walks. We bought a lightweight MacClaren (sp?) and LOVE it. The back is mesh-like, so Landon doesn't trap heat in the stroller seat.

OH! We bought a toddler bed. Right now, we just have it set up beside our bed. Landon starts the night out in it, but sometime during the night he'll sleep-climb into our bed...never even waking up. But its a start.

Still here

Nothing much exciting going on, and my camera's been in my car, so no pictures. Although I have to get a clip of Landon playing peek a boo - he doesn't quite cover his eyes (really, his hands are usually on the side of his head.)

He has learned to say Maddie and Mason (our dogs), baseball, basketball, Ah Oh, outside, bite, bird, etc, etc, etc. He still loves to whisper while he plays and his new favorite game is blowing raspberries in my face and hair.

He no longer wants to eat baby food, but wants to eat whatever is on our plates. He's had steak, mashed potatoes, fries, baked beans - which happen to be his favorite and basically any dessert he can get his grubby little paws on.

He helped me pull weeds this weekend. He would take them one by one back up the driveway to daddy (who was washing the car.) I found out yesterday, he was doing the same thing at daycare, picking a weed and giving it to his teacher.

He loves climbing. He climbs in his rocking chair, stands up and rocks. He can also climb on the ottoman now. He'll climb up, then sit down, get on his tummy and slide almost all the way off, then decide he wants to stand back up. This goes on for 30 minutes.

He's also become a stinky boy. They play outside at daycare now...and when he comes home, he stinks. Well, he smells like outside. And, oh my goodness, you should see the little farmer tan he's getting. Too cute. He comes home with dirt under his fingernails, and grass stains on his jeans. A true boy.

Night at the Ball Park

Last night was fun! Landon was super active. Well, he almost nodded off right when we got there, but then all of the sudden he was so awake. He was excited when he first saw the huge field, but once he realized he didn't get to go play on it, I think he forgot it was there.

We had hot dogs, french fries and some cotton candy. Landon really wanted Danny's nachos - but see all the jalepenos??

We took Landon up to walk the pavilion about four times, the rest of the time, he was pretty content either playing with my hair or flirting with a little girl behind us.

It was a great time, and I'm sure we'll be going back to another game soon.

Hibachi

Landon had his first hibachi experience last night. The chef was very entertaining, Landon loved watching him through his spatula and knife around - which I'm sure Landon was thinking, hey I can do that with my spoon too!

I had scallops and shrimp, Bry had the steak and chicken - mmmmmmm. Delicious. Landon had chicken and apples (by Gerber.) He's also loving those little pinwheel things, which, disgusting, but if he eats them and doesn't gag, well, they'll stay on the shopping list.

We're going to watch the As.tros play tonight. This will be Landon's second baseball game (he went to one when he was like 8 weeks old, and I remember him having poop come out of his diaper, all up his back - wasn't nice.) Hopefully tonight will go better than that.

Oh, and he loooooooooooooooooves standing up in his rocking chair. I'll have to get pictures of this. He climbs up in it, stands up and rocks using the back of the chair, then climbs down, only to climb back up. He's so cute. He's also playing Peek-a-boo now. He doesn't always get his hands quite over his eyes, mostly on the side of his head, but he's getting the technique. And he thinks doing this makes him a comedian cause mom and dad are laughing so hard. All fun.

Climber

First, the thrush is gone! Yay. Landon is now eating again and taking his medicine like a big boy.

And I learned this weekend that Landon can climb into the bathtub all by himself. I was in his room putting up laundry and he wondered off into the bathroom. I wasn't too worried, I knew he would probably unroll the toilet paper (which he did.) But when I heard bath toys getting thrown against the tile, I started to wonder how he could reach them. I walk into the bathroom to find him climbing out of the tub, balanced delicately with his feet on the tub side and the rest of his body holding on the toilet. Oh my gosh.

Also, he learned later on this weekend how to open the toilet lid and reach the water. Yeah, disgusting. I promise, we do keep an eye on him. LOL. He's just so fast.

AND - lol - he can climb into his rocking chair and he loves to rock on it standing up.

We all went to a bar-b-que with my coworkers. It actually got really cold, it was overcast and windy. But the bbq turned out really nice. Lots and Lots of delicious food - and I didn't count a single WW point. LOL. Landon was awesome. He played around in the yard, chasing the dog, playing with a soccer ball. One of his friends, Seth, brought all kinds of toy cars and trucks. Landon had a great time examaning each of them.

We tried whole milk this weekend - but have decided to stay with Rice milk for now. After landon vomited what looked (and smelled) like curdled milk, rice is fine with us.

Thrush

Took Landon to the doc this morning. He has thrush. Bad. Very. Bad. We hadn't noticed because its all in the back of his mouth and throat. Poor baby. I'd be gagging too. He's on medicine now and we have to throw out all his pacifiers, nipples, sippy lids, etc tomorrow and then again in 14 days. I asked if there was any food that would be easy for him to eat...

Doc: "You know how you feel when you get a yeast infection?"
Me: "Yeah"
Doc: "That's how his mouth feels right now."
Me: "Oh man!"
Doc: "Exactly"

So we'll just try to feed him what we can and hopefully he'll keep something down. He's only lost about half a pound, so not too bad.

I finally got the camera out of the car. So here's some Easter pictures.

Easter and Family Trip

We had a great weekend. We left Thursday afternoon for West Texas to visit my family, getting into Muleshoe (yes, as in a Mule's foot wear) around 6:30. YAWN. Bryan headed to the back room for much needed sleep. Landon slept for a little bit longer, then Grammy Jane and I got up and played with Landon. Mom (Grammy) made her famous french toast (so much for WW points.)

My sister and her kids came over for lunch. I chi'ed everyone's hair - they all looked great. We went to Leal's for lunch (you'll learn soon that visits revolve around food.) Delicious. Then we headed over to Portales, to shop a little at my family's furniture store (more on this later.) On to Grandma's for dinner, Lasagna and bread, along with a apricot brandy cake. Oh man. Jana and her kids, along with my aunt and uncle came over for dinner. Landon had a great time playing the kids. And found Grandma's canned food cabinet, where he proceeded to start throwing all the cans out into the kitchen floor.

The snow started falling Friday night. Yes, snow. As in white moisture that usually appears around winter time. We woke up the next morning to temps in the teens and about 2 inches of snow. Brrr...

Grandma/Bryan made eggs, bacon and toast and then we just sat around in our pajama's for a while, listening to Grandma's stories like how they used to get $10 a week, they paid $2.50 for rent and $2.50 on my granddad's cigarettes. Or how they paid $14000 for the house she's living in now. Crazy.

Mom, Jana and her kids made it through the ice/snow for lunch. We ordered Pat's - fried everything...tator tots, crinkle fries, taquitas, taco dip. After lunch we boiled and dyed eggs, which Landon was convinced were balls. Everyone came over for dinner again, we had stack supper, along with home made cake with strawberries and whipping cream (not cool whip, the real deal here.)

Mom, Jana and kids stayed the night with Grandma, we had all the beds full. For Easter breakfast, my grandmother made waffles and syrup. She heats up syrup and add maple flavoring...best ever. We had all changed from our sandals to panty hose and pumps. Put our coats on over our Easter dresses and headed to church.

After church, everyone went to my aunt Sharon's house. We had pot luck, with lots and lots to eat. The egg hunting went fast. Landon didn't much enjoy being out in the cold and was finished with it after three eggs. Confetti eggs were a big hit this year with all the kids (not so much with the parents.)

Furniture Story
We stayed a little bit longer on Monday than we would have liked, but it was for a good reason. We ordered all the furniture we'll ever need for our house (hopefully.) We're getting Broy.hill At.tic Hei.rloom to finish off what we don't have. Entertainment center, china cabinet, armoire, night stand, furniture for landon's room, a new sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman...etc. Yes, its quite a fortune, but my family may be going out of the furniture business soon, so we wanted to get everything we could. My Grandparents originally ran the store for years and years, then they sold it to my mother's sister and brother, who now run it. My Grandmother still works there every day at the age of 90. Can you believe it?

I'll post tons of pictures later...haven't unpacked the camera yet. Bryan's home with Landon who is sick again. I'm hoping its not his ears, but thinking it probably is. Ugh. Poor Baby.

Seperation Anxiety?

Landon would NOT leave me this morning. Every time I tried to set him down to make bottles, do my makeup, put clothes on, anything, he would just start bawling. What's with that? Luckily, when we got to day care, one of his teachers took him right away and started playing with him.

Today's their Easter party at school. We found an Elmo easter basket at Tar.get last night. Bought some eggs and filled them with colored goldfish. The party's this afternoon sometime. We're heading out to West Texas this evening (about an 11 hour drive.) Fun, huh. But Landon will get to spend Easter with family and lots and lots of cousins. I just checked the weather. It's supposed to be 37 on Saturday with snow. Are you kidding me? Snow, on Easter, in Texas! LOL. Wonder how my sandals will look in the snow?

Here's some pictures - he's just so cute.
