I saw Dr. Johnson today. Everything is normal. In fact he said, I'm pretty much an example of the average pregnancy. Glucose test came back normal, my blood pressure is normal, the baby's heartbeat is normal, my weight is normal. I'm measuring right on schedule - 29 weeks. I go back in 3 weeks and then I'll start visits every two weeks.
Bryan and I worked on the nursery this weekend. I bought wooden letters that spell out "L-A-N-D-O-N" - they were half price at Hobby Lobby, and I painted them navy. I cleaned out the baby's closet and hung all his clothes according to size. We also found a glider and ottoman in the NASA ad sheet last week. We picked it up, washed the cushions, Bryan took apart the rocker, cleaned it and stopped all squeaking. It looks brand new. All for $50. (Compared to over $200+ in the store.)
Took pics this morning:
Not so bad, course the black pants kind of hide things.
Weekend
I ran 2.5 miles on Friday! Yay me. That was after I did an upper body workout. Of course my legs were screaming at me afterwards, but oh well. The Mardi Gras run is in 3 weeks. I know that if I sign up, there's nothing wrong with walking if I have to. Bryan's really been working on his running. I think the race will help motivate him. Its sad to see how far back our running has sunk. But, I guess we're doing something about it - that's what matters.
