Pre Anniversary Outing

This Thursday is our four year anniversary. Four years. Sometimes it feels like that day was just yesterday, but at the same time, it feels like I've been with Bryan for many many years. I got a GPS - for the car (lol - the running one will come later)! YAY! (Oh, and my mower - can't forget my mower!) Yesterday, we were fortuanate enough to have friends watch Landon so Bry and I hit the movie theatre. We saw Stepbrothers - hilarious, but very crass - and Batman - long and very dramatic. We had fun snuggling up in the theatre, eating our junk food and enjoying the movie. But we both missed Landon. LOL.
Sidenote - I can not believe how many young children there were watching Batman! I thought I'd have nightmares, I'm sure those kids didn't sleep well. How sad.

Aside from the one run on Saturday and lots of yard work, I didn't do much this weekend. Bry and I enjoyed a quiet weekend alone, no guests, no planned events, just family. It was nice and much needed.

I have a 3 miler on the schedule for this evening. We'll see. Volleyball starts up tomorrow with open gym and then the season starts next week. Its been forever and I'm ready to play again.

  1. Congrats on 4 years!

And GPS is great isn't it? It's one of those things that once you get it, you wonder how you ever functioned without it.

We take a lot of road trips, and the maps never seem to have enough detail. We'd get lost and loster. With GPS, even if the initial directions don't make sense, it will keep recalculating until you eventually get back on track.

A lifesaver, since I have absolutely no sense of direction.

  2. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Ahhhhh yes, time does fly. I also wonder if I can keep waking up in the morning seeing hte same face for the next 20-30 years LOL I'M KIDDING!

  3. Thanks for visiting and leaving the kind words on my blog. Happy anniversary!

  4. Happy Anniversary!! LMAO at the mower and the GPS for the car running one next, hehehe!

Glad you are back to good to run again.
