Moving Forward

Okay, so just a little forward. Landon crawled about two knee movements forward. He can move like lightening backwards, but yesterday was the first time he went forward on his knees.

His fourth tooth is coming in also. Now he grinds his teeth, which I'm sure feels good on the gums where his tooth is coming in, but, oh, that sound.

Okay, at night, he's going through diapers like crazy! He gets a diaper around 8:00, right before bed time. Around 11 I change him because if I don't he'll wake up soaked. But the last three nights, he's gone through the diaper before 10:30! That means new pajama's, new sheets, new mattress cover. Then we have to get him back to sleep. Any ideas?

  1. He is soaking through the diapers to the sheet? Wow! What kind of diapers do you use? I use Pampers Baby Dry and have never really had a problem...

  2. We're using Pampers too. He wears a 3 during the day, but we put him in a 4 for bed. I'm thinking we may move up to 5's.

BTW, I stumbled across your blog awhile back and love the pics/news of Landon...such a cutie! Just delurking today, I guess.

  4. Yay for crawling and more teeth. Too cute but the grinding would be icky sounding. :)

I dont' know what to do about the diapering problem. I was going to suggest pampers brand, but you are already using it, maybe try huggies. Hopefully you'll have found a solution with a bigger size.

  5. Wow, we haven't had diaper issues like that. We switched from Pampers to Huggies because we like them just as well, and they're cheaper. And actually there was less of a blowout issue because of the elastic on the back.

Have you tried sheet protectors? We use them for Jenna because of her spitting up. That way you don't have to change the bedding--just the sheet protector. You may try laying him on that, but you still don't want him wet all night, so I'm not sure what to tell you there...
